The large two story red brick antebellum portion of the facility was built in 1848. An extensive remodeling and expansion project was completed in October 2001.
The Homestead Lodge is a great facility for corporate, quilting and scrap-booking retreats, class reunions, weddings, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, and many other types of meetings and receptions.

The fully certified kitchen is available to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals. The lodge has quickly become a popular destination for a wide variety of special events. The dining room seats up to 36 guests and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The Homestead Lodge features a two-story stone fireplace built with stones carved from the river bluff by Seaman Sprague for his farmhouse in the middle 1800’s.
Features a lovely king bed, a love seat sofa with a full size fold out, flat-screen TV, private full bath, marble topped side table with two dining chairs. Sleeps 3-4.
Two queen size beds, large flat screen TV, wet bar, compact refrigerator/ freezer combo, dining table with four chairs, sofa, side chair with ottoman, shared full bath (only with Aspen bedroom, if rented), private patio and zero level entry from the west parking lot. Sleeps 2-4.
One queen size bed and shared bath with Terrace Suite. Sleeps 1-2.
